In a significant step towards digital modernization, the Government of Dubai Legal Affairs Department has launched its new Artificial Intelligence Strategy, reinforcing the emirate’s commitment to smart, agile, and tech-driven governance. Announced in June 2025, the initiative is designed to support Dubai’s broader future-readiness directives by integrating AI-powered tools across key service areas and operational structures.

The strategy focuses on leveraging artificial intelligence in UAE government operations to automate services, enhance decision-making using big data analytics, and secure digital environments. With a clear emphasis on scalability, flexibility, and cybersecurity, this initiative will contribute to the department’s ongoing digital transformation and improve the delivery of legal and regulatory services.

His Excellency Dr. Lowai Mohamed Belhoul, Director General of the Department, highlighted that the AI strategy aligns with national innovation priorities at both the federal and local levels. He noted that artificial intelligence is no longer a future concept but a present-day necessity in government operations.
